So, one of the biggest questions I seem to get at demos or post Thermomix purchase, is "will it feed my family? I love the fact it makes food preparation so quick and easy, but I am struggling finding recipes the whole family will happily eat."
I get that. Here is what dinner looks like in my family:
Me - Will eat almost everything. Not particularly fussy. BUT i get bored easily and I don't want to eat the same meals week in and week out.
Hubby - More on the fussy side - wont eat mushrooms, seafood, or any of that "weird" (his words!) vego stuff like lentils, chickpeas etc. Very much a meat and 3 veg kind of eater and would be happy to have steak every night lol
Miss 6 - Training to eat mostly everything, but currently going through a bit of a fussy stage. Not loving veges right now, eats tiny portion sizes, wont eat anything spicy.
So my rules for dinner for most nights of the week are
- Must be fairly quick to prepare and not too long to cook - unless it is something I can walk away from.
- Must contain as much vegetables as possible or hidden veg in some way, shape or form
- reasonably budget friendly
- not too spicy
- must contain meat, or a good hearty vegetarian meal - salads just don't cut the mustard here
I've shared this list a few times with my customers, but here is a list of links to our favourite thermomix meals. These meals go in high rotation, are tasty, appeal to the three of our different tastes and are just generally worth a try! Enjoy!!
I would love to hear what Thermal meals are on your weekly menu?

Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken with Mustard Sauce -
My notes – I never add wine and I usually use coconut cream rather than cream. Miss 6 loves the chicken, but sometimes eats the stuffing, sometimes doesn’t. Hubby LOVES this dish and requests often. There are a few variations on the recipe community and of course you can change up the stuffing or flavours of sauce with whatever suits. I made a version for Christmas with cranberry sauce and brie cheese stuffing and gravy. Yum! http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/main-dishes-meat-recipes/prosciutto-wrapped-chicken-mustard-sauce/108759
