Today, Naomi has come on board to share the things that she has experienced since becoming a Thermomix owner. Naomi has also been lucky enough to have experienced the two most recent models - having had borrowed use of her Mum's TM31 for around 2 years, before deciding to invest in her own Thermomix and now owning a TM5....
How long have you been a Thermomix Owner?
Since August 2016.
What made you feel Thermomix was the right fit for you?
I felt the Thermomix was right for me as I have been wanting to begin making meals and other pantry/fridge items from scratch. This amazing little machine just makes that a lot easier. It's compact, looks neat, there is an amazing community to find recipes and the support and follow up you receive after buying this machine. Also making food from scratch is so much more cost effective and you know what is going into it!!! No more yukky additives!
What are your three favourite features of the Thermomix?
* The recipe chips - they make it so simple to follow a recipe.
* The in-built scales and temperature.
* The fact I can have dinner cooking, go and do something else and once dinner is ready, the Thermomix lets me know, by chiming away :)
Tell me a little about your favourite recipe?
My favourite recipe so far is Quirky Cooking's My Best Butter Chicken ever. Although I served mine with regular rice. It was a big hit with the family :) I am keen to try the cauliflower rice too. I have so many recipes to try and I am doing this each week. The link to this recipe is here: http://www.quirkycooking.com.au/2015/11/my-best-butter-chicken-ever/
Can you share your best Thermomix tip?
My best Thermomix tip is......use it! Meal plan and use it. Spend some time looking for new recipes and things you would like to start making and do it. It gets easier as you go on, especially for people like myself who are slightly disorganised.
Would you recommend this product to others?
