Customer of the Month - Emma

My very first Thermomix customer, when I became a Consultant, and also my long term best friend - Emma - has graciously agreed to be my first in the series of Customers in the Spotlight. What a great way to be able to shine a light on the reasons why one might purchase a Thermomix and hear some more great tips and recipe suggestions.  So thanks Emma for joining me here today x

How long have you been a Thermomix Owner?

Just over two years.

What made you feel Thermomix was the right fit for you?

I originally bought it so I could make my baby's food with ease, I was still newly pregnant at the time, but knew this appliance was going to make my life easy.  I ended up using it for about a year making other cool and yummy stuff with ease before I actually needed it to make purees.

What are your three favourite features of the Thermomix?

* The fact that you can puree boiling hot soup in it, in one minute

* That you can set your meals to cook and just walk away, knowing the Thermomix is doing the job for you.

* That you can literally do so much!  chop, mix, mill, knead, stir, cook - the list goes on!

Tell me a little about your favourite recipe?

I have two.....first one is a bolognese sauce recipe which I've now incorporated into our fortnightly meal plan cos its so easy and so delicious.  The meat stays chunky as well - perfect! http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/pasta-rice-dishes-recipes/chunky-spaghetti-bolognese/229376.   My other go to recipe is the 30 second Orange Cake, which I regularly make for different occasions or just for our house if I have a load of oranges in the fridge.  It is fabulous with a nice cream cheese icing.  http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/baking-sweet-recipes/30-second-whole-orange-cake/45622

Can you share your best Thermomix tip?

Don't buy caster sugar or icing sugar ever!!  Just buy sugar and mill it down at different time levels to make each of them.

Would you recommend this product to others?

Yes!

Please share any other thoughts or comments you have on Thermomix and using one in your day to day life.

I'm learning new stuff everyday with the Thermomix and I know I am only using 50% of what its actually capable of doing, but I enjoy trying new things in it all the time.
